This project was truly a passion project for me. With the help of a colleague who designed the initial structure of the center platform, I rapidly prototyped the scene before you. I worked through several iterations that included variations on number of steps, height of the steps and width of the whole display. I also voiced safety concerns that since this display was occasionally on the second floor in certain stores, the back of the platform would be too close to the railing and could pose a hazard. I was able to really flex my creative design skills with this project and purely just create what would be an exciting entrance into the stores.

This project was worked on in tandem with the "Elevated Outdoor Shop" project. Everything shown in this scene was modeled, arranged, textured and lit by me, with the exclusion of the store file and the picnic table in the back. I used several techniques to string the outdoor lights on the custom built pergola to give the space a true 'backyard' feel. Height constraints of the HVAC system were taken into account to make sure the space didn't feel too claustrophobic.

The direction given for this project was to "elevate our outdoor rec shop". Everything shown in this scene was modeled, arranged and textured by me, with the exclusion of the store file surrounding the department. I took some ideas on the different brands and collections we carried to give each one a 'moment' in the shop. Starting from left to right there is a section for Blackstone, featuring a grill and mannequin styled as if this was a backyard scene. In the middle is a small section dedicated to Solo Stove that pulls the customer into the back wall with the full wall graphic. Over on the right hand side and towards the back is the Ooni pizza oven and hiking/camping accessories.

When the company announced their fleet of "House of Sport'' stores, all departments underwent a glow up. One of my specific categories is Golf, so I was in charge of designing and rendering the golf equipment department. The overall aesthetic and lockers in the back wall as well as the layout with merchandising was completed by me. We also completed a secondary location view that had a different layout to showcase all the new fixtures and materials.

In the early days of the "House of Sport'' designs, there was a call for a Health & Wellness department. This included things like pre-workout, recovery, personal hygiene and sun protection as well as training items like yoga mats, therabody massage guns and high protein bars and snacks. This area also included fresh pressed juices and would be a gathering location for classes and informative sessions like personal training and workout design. Everything shown in the render aside from the background architectural elements was modeled, arranged, textured and lit by me. We went through several different material options as well to really find the correct vibe for the space. To this day I am extremely proud of how this turned out.

These images show the process through creating a holiday experience for the company. This particular years’ designs focused on the torn red wrapping paper and the snow covered birch trees. We went through several different options to find the one that fit our store the best for the customers. Aside from the larger store model, all platforms, wraps and mannequins were built dressed, textured and arranged by me.

When the sport of Pickleball took the world by storm last year, I designed a 'shop in shop' to display all things pickleball. The back wall we filled with paddles and the sides were the wiffle balls and accessories. We had a small display of shoes and apparel as well that expanded over time. Additionally, we had a secondary location in the store to display a more storytelling-focused installation. Since this area was more about the feeling of being out on the court and playing “America’s Fastest Growing Sport”, we included two floor graphics as well as pickleball paddle texture fixture wraps.

These two shops were designed to hit the stores right as the first wave of summer sunshine hit. I designed fixtures and used marketing from the brands themselves to pull together a cohesive shop for both mens and womens swim. I focused on making sure the materials were consistent across both the sides of the store, so that even if they were spaced (sometimes very far) apart from each other, you would still know its the same shop. Everything shown with the exception of the architectural store model was modeled, arranged, textured, merchandised and rendered by me.
